Seminal peer-reviewed journal article on global competence entitled “What Does It Mean to be Globally Competent?” was published in the Journal of Studies in International Education

Consensus definition for global competence was revisited by a Delph Panel to more accurately and inclusively represent the global competence research

An updated consensus definition for global competence was unveiled from the 2017 – 2018 Delphi Panel research study to more accurately represent the research in the modern era of global competence
